I am working on a project and I am having problems changing the brightness of the screen. I am writing this app. in VB6 but really any language will do, I can just create a shell command to call the external app. The main device that I am writing for is a lilliput, but if I can find a Windows hook that would be even better. Any direction would be helpful.

Found it .. .
Using the GetDeviceGammaRamp / SetDeviceGammaRamp API's I am able to effect the systems overall gamma. Thats it.
