I just got an Infill G4 installed tonight, and one of the first things I did was bookmark "rottentomatoes.com" in IE7.
I would love a plugin like this. I'd even pay up to say $20 for it (assuming it works as described)
It should pull in some rating/reviews -- RT (above) has a great meter. gives a total rating, plus what the critics are rating it. sometimes you can't trust "the masses" to review a movie. ;-p

Still very much in progress... but coming to a vehicle near you soon...
Suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Hehe, I won't. I am close to done but am super busy with my day job (shipping real CarPCs ), hoping to have a beta in the next weekend or two.

I know you guys are anxious but I hate releasing half-baked goods. I promise I will post something this weekend, mid next week at the latest.

Marchello, this looks great. very promising. One suggestion.
it would be better to make the movie titles a different font or color from the movie times. it will make your mod a lot more readeable especially on the car screen.
Also do you plan allowing the user to easily navigate to the movie locations? if U already havent done so, take a look at the GPS gas price digimod, I created a while back. it allows you to navigate to the gas station by simply clicking on the gas price locations.

Thanks, great suggestions. I already have the "route me" functionality, but the coloring is a very good idea that I will look into. The problem is that i will have to render the list myself, which I would rather not do... but we'll see. Ideally, I would love to have the list panel like the one in the media playlist, but Chuck sais that's not possible because the module is not exposed... Sorry, haven't looked into your Gas digimod, do you render the list items yourself?

HAHAH! OMG! I was looking at your screenshots and thinking, what a weird coincidence we have theatres named Bellabotega too, then I saw another one I recognized and the little lightbulb went off. *I* live in Redmond, WA TOO!
That's awesome! Hey, if you need me to beta test or anything, let me know. I live off Avondale, by the Target/Khols/HomeDepot/Fred Meyer.
Also, what do you mean your day job is shipping real CarPCs?? What company? What do they do exactly?

I have not rendered a list myself so am not sure now exactly how to populate data into the list panel. in the gas digimod, the only thing can use is the route me functionality which you already have.
