i would love to get an internet connection in my car, but the price right now of a dataplan is too expensive and the network stuff seems to slow. I have a Treo 650 palm OS phone and I don't even think I can use it as an internet connection actually...

Yes, through a wifi adapter as wifi is prevalent all over the city. (AP Mode)

Yes, WiMax (Quebec, Canada). It is all over the city 1.0Mb down and 250kBps up
