I'm trying to figure out the best way to read data from the engine control unit (computer) in my car. I do not have the factory ECU so ODBII isn't an option. What I do have is a serial telemety stream. So basicly what I need to know is how to get the computer to read that data and display it up on the screen in the form of gauges. Here is the setup for the telemtry..
