Question Question About Extending the Navigation Module

Hi there,

I am currently stuck trying to get something to work within Streetdeck. Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated.

I have created a very simple user overlay to start, using the "User Overlay 0". Just some text and some image buttons.

I then added a new button onto the CNavFullScreenModule module. I then set the button property to "Show/Hide User Overlay 0" as the function to call when the button is clicked.

Pretty straightforward stuff. But when I test it, it doesn't work. I go into the Navigation module. I can see my button, and when I click it, nothing happens. My overlay does not show.

I have compared the properties of the button to the other buttons on the screen (ie: Zoom). Every property matches except the location and image name. I am absolutely sure the button is properly tied to the "Show/Hide User Overlay 0" function.

Is anyone familar with this problem? Any ideas? I have tried everything I can think of to get this to work...

Thanks in advance,
Scott

There is probably an overlay restriction in place so the user overlay will only appear in certain modules. To remove this, goto "Skin | Overlay Restrictions" double click CUserOverlay0, click global, then click ok. Now goto a different module and the overlay should appear.
