I am having the same problem. As a programmer, when i see an ActiveX error it usually means that a DLL (or OCX) is not registered. Could this be the problem? Which DLL's should I look for?

Thanks,

Scott

You need to register SiriusCom.Sirius.dll. You can run the script to register it. It's located in the script directory at ..\My Documents\StreetDeck\Scripts\{56228B41-EF0B-469A-BE38-67AC73CF5C4C}\Addins\RunMeFirst.cmd

ok, im just messing with the SD demo

and when i double click the sirius.sdz file
it fails durning install

it does show up under digitial mods, and says stopped

this "digital mod" needs to be reworked, its using OLD OLD OLD
sirius code

also, StreetDeck should support it natively

I am finally ready to get Sirius on my Streetdeck versus the head unit and notice that the SR-ALP1 adaptor is not available from rush2112. Anyone have current experience with the new adaptor and older tuners or must I switch to a new tuner too?

Its a beta feature. I haven't tested it myself yet, but it should work. It should allow you to use StreetDeck for sirius instead of XM, when you run with -sirius, just configure the satellite radio settings for your sirius hardware and instead of XM radio and the XM radio ui should work for sirius.

I'm using -sirius with some success. Streetdeck will play the Sirius (ALP-1) but always resets my Line-In volume to Max. Annoying.

I'm doing the same with the SC-C1 and unless ive done a clean shutdown/startup (e.g. not a restart and not a hibernate/standby (which generate their own problems)) when it starts the background system noise is amplified like crazy and actual audio coming in is about half the volume it was at before hibernating/standby.

When I say background system noise I mean that sound you can hear when you crank up your volume to maximum without any music playing. It's not a ground loop in the vehicle, the alternator, power windows, headlights and AC do nothing at all to the sound so I know it's internal to the system.

Anyway, you would never listen to the computer at that volume because any actual sound would be deafening (this is quiet noise coming through at music levels) but that's whats strange is that the radio is then so quiet. It ONLY does this if I didn't do a clean startup/shutdown. If I play an mp3 while this sound is coming through, it mutes the line-in when it switches over to the mp3 and the sound goes away immediately. When I mute the line-in manually it also goes away, so I don't know what's going with the line-out when the system powers down, but when it comes back up it sounds like its been dropped down to 1% and then had the gain cranked up.

OK.. I can't get this to install.

SD recognizes the program, then when i click install, it starts, but I get this error:

I've run the script, I've tried the switch... Nothing.

OK, for those like me that didn't know where to run this command line:

1) Right click on the shortcut and select properties
2) In the "Target" field, add this to the end of the command line:
"C:\Program Files\streetdeck\StreetDeck.exe" -sirius

The " -sirius" goes AFTER the the quotes in the target field.

Thanks to Goce at mp3car for his help on this!

Great support!
