Is this database user editable?
Currently I have it set to just retrieve the zip from the navigation's module. I did not want to include an editable zip so as to limit the number of errors from the user's input. But this something i can change.

I have all the functionality to retrieve this information. I just decide not to display it because of the lack of space. On my next version, i'll figure out a clean way of incorporating the diesel infor

This is currently coded to just used numeric zip codes. The website I currently use get all this information currently retrieves US gas prices. if you do find website that I can get Canadian gas prices, I can code to retrieve the gas information.

I've had issues with the Weather mod, only when the system is first started up. I have to open Navigation and drive a bit before it catches the ZIP, even thought it knows where I am and displays the ZIP that I'm in.
I haven't loaded this mod yet, but is it possible to hit the icon for the gas station and have it route you there in NAV?
In terms of Diesel info, could you create a SETTINGS pane where someone can select the type of gas to be displayed. If someone owns a diesel, they have little need for the other 3, so then you have all the room you need. And, typically people use the same type of gas each time. This would give you all the room you require.

currently, if you click or touch the gas prices of a particular gas station, it will navigate to that location.

Agreed!
We have to use premium in all of our vehicles....truck, car, and bikes.
Heck, when we have to buy gas for our dirt bikes we have to buy premium even....

I tried to use the mod serveral times during my trip. While moving, Streetdeck would not allow me to open the mod at all. I could not open the weather mod either. When stopped, it still gave me the gas prices for Kansas City, even when the weather mod returned the correct zip code. The dumb thing is, I was the passenger, and there was no way to bypass the "it's not safe to do this while moving" stuff. Very annoying.

One thing i noticed was that if you are in the gas module when the car has stopped and you start driving, the system will not kick you out of the module.
I wish there was a way to disable this. I will try creating a button from the front module to call the digitalmod. Maybe that would do the trick.
I am on my final stages of another version of this, that will allow users to manually enter zipcodes as well as get zipcode from the gps module. This new version also has preferences for the user to select the type of gas to display.
Stay tuned. hoping this version works better.

As far as the zipcode goes...if you are going to allow manually entering, can you have it keep the last manually entered zipcode or be able to set a default zip code?

New version of GPS gas price
This version allows the user to manually enter zipcodes. Users also have the option to choose the type of gas to display as well as whether they want a voice prompt.
I cannot attach the new version because the size is larger than 200kb. so i'll have to attach it in the wiki

I haven't been able to get this to work for me. When ever I try to search for gas prices in my zip code, it kicks me out of the Mod with an error message. It is something to the extent of: ActiveX cannot create object Get_Gas_Price(). Any ideas?

Have the same issue when manually entering zipcode.
~edit~
I had the problem. I read the beginning of the post regarding registering the two dll's and it fixed the problem. If all else fails RTFP.

Another shot
I'm going to give this another try. In a week and a half I'll be driving from South Carolina to Oklahoma and back to help a friend move. I should have plenty of opportunity to use this.
It should be easier since I now know how to run in testmode. How useless is this feature if you have to wait until you've come to a complete stop, most likely at a gas station, before trying to find a cheap gas station?
What would make it really useful (but I imagine would be terribly difficult to do) would be to be able to specify only gas stations within x miles of your current route.
