Help OBD1 Scanner/Interface???

I am trying to track down a OBD interface/scanner manufacturer/supplier who has a interface unit that can decode my OBDI data via a serial connector.

No luck so far ...I would be very grateful if someone could point me in right direction ???

This site has a good free program and tells you how to make your own http://winaldl.joby.se/ But if youd like to buy a kit or a pre built cable with tons of good free software plus some not so free software check out this site http://www.aldlcable.com/sc/toplevel.asp?cat=0

Thankyou

Thanks Mr PTOR...great links...you saved my a.se. I now know the difference between what is in my 13 year old OBDI truck and current OBDII. Ironicaly it seems I will be able to get live engine data and default codes out of my prehistoric ECU with a $30 cable and some freeware whereas OBDII requires big spend $ and many potential conflicts.

Thanks again

You most likely did not have the software setup correctly or did not follow the instructions. My cable from aldlcable.com has worked great and I have hooked up to a number of cars with TTS Datamaster and EFILive, both free packages that are awesome. These GM OBD1 cars were far ahead of everyone at the time for data logging and tuning.
