OBD II connector on an OBD I car

I have a '95 Dodge Stratus that is OBD I compliant, but it has an OBD II connector on it. When I connect it to my laptop via my OBD II setup, the computer doesn't recognize the car. The setup works on my '02 Kia Sedona, so I know it's not my setup. Does anyone know how I can access my car's OBD I compliant computer via my OBD II plug (yes it was factory installed, has not been modified in anyway).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I have a "rare" 1995 Stratus ES 2.0L 5-speed with OBDI management but an OBDII connector like yours. I am also looking into my options. I was told some time ago (long before I bought it from my sister) that there was a TSB about this and that the dealer can re-flash the PCM with OBDII coding, but I haven't called the stealership and wouldn't expect anyone there to know what I'm talking about anyway. I'm assuming this would cost money. Sorry I don't have more info for you, but I'm just starting out.

Obd I/ii

I think before OBD II came out many cars used the same style connector that later became OBD II, using different pins. As far as "reflashing" is concerned; doesn't seem likely. OBD I is an entirely different animal than OBD II.
