Help with a '94 toyota celica.

Hey,

Right ive been doing a bit of digging, my 94 celica has a diagnostics port in the engine bay - this would surely mean its ODB-I which isn't great, however i spotted this -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-17-PINS...QQcmdZViewItem

would this mean i could use an ODB-II reader on my ODB-I socket?

thanks

chris

It would be nice if that sorted the job out, you try it first as it's your idea

does it convert it to OBD-II protocol, like CAN, VAG, just remember is not just the connector but take into consideration the language that it uses, in the case of toyota ISO-9141

Hmm. I'm in the same case.

It'd be very interesting to find out. Otherwise is there any way to interface with it?
