Newbie looking for Saab I-bus help

Hi there,

Happy New year to everyone here.

I have been browsing here and you guys speak a foreign language, but it's a language I hope will help me.

I am building a custom 1948 Chevy car. I recently purchased a set of seats from a 2004 Saab 9-3 Convertible. I would like to be able to use all functions of the seats, unc, luding the memory. I have determined that in order to do so, I need to "wake up" the Drivers Seat Module (DSM) with the correct code from the Instrument-bus. I'm trying to find a way to do that. I don't need to send any codes back out, I just need the code coming ini to tell the seats that they can work. This normally happens when the doors are open or the key is turned on.

Does anybody know if there is some kind of signal generator I can use for this purpose?

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Walt
