What software do I need to use this interface ?

http://www.skpang.co.uk/content/view/18/36/
or
http://www.planetfall.com/~jeff/obdii/

Basically both are just level converters (to RS232). But I am at a loss as to what software would work with these types of hardware ?
The links refer to Ross-Tech and OpenDiag but ross-tech keeps referring to "european" cars and I have yet to figure out what OpenDiag is.

It seems like all the freeware or commerical software that are familiar around here(Scantool, Wobd, PCMSCAN, etc..) would NOT work with this type of interfaces, is that right ? Any help or pointers would be highly appreciated!
Thanks!

Get hold of a copy of Digimoto Lite - this will work (with limited functionality) with the ELM327.

Once you've got it working you can expand the functionality by looking at products like the full version of Digimoto 5.0 and PCMSCAN.

I'm sorry, I don't understand this question.

The ELM is the hardware that you would use, I thought that you were looking for software to work with ELM hardware?

Can you explain ?
Can I use "VAG Hardware" with a Honda since it is an ISO9141-2 anyway ?

I know Rosstech's software is an option (I already mentioned that in my original post), but I am trying to find out if there are any other options.
