Can you monitor an OBD I vehicle

I have a 1990 nissan 300zx and it doestn't have an OBD II. Is there a way that i could have a carputer program that will give me information like the obd II programs?

goto ebay and search nissan consult

i just brought one for my 1994 bluebird SR20 based car, see if your car is in teh list

I got the serial rs232 one as im not using that for anything. and it make no difference to the data logging display VS USB.

you can only read the data with them, if you want to update your ecu as you drive sort of thing you need get it rchipped etc

Is there any obd1 solution? I have a 93 Taurus sho, a few years ago I remember when I plugged in my dads scan tool it displayed RPM, temp, speed, and it showed allot of other stuff I don't remember.

as far as i know obd1 wasnt as standardized, so its hit and miss if the data scanners work from one brand of car to another

obd2 is in most cars post 1996..
