2002 Volvo S60 side airbags deployed - starting problem

I have been searching for answers as to why I can't start my 2002 Volvo. The side airbags are deployed and it says service urgent. Do I have to have the dealership reset or is this something that I can do?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Your in the completely wrong place for this. Chances are better than average that you need something fixed or replaced, not just reset. Go see your Volvo retailer.

I'd check to see if a car is sticking out of the side of your Volvo, probably on the side the airbags went off.

Volvo like all other european cars come with a trip switch, in which a collision is detected it automatically cuts off the fuel supply therefore redcuing the risks of a fire!

There should be a switch in your engine bay somewhere which canr eset this so the engine will start again.
