GM ALDL for digital dash.

I have read a few threads on different ways to make a digital dash. One way is to use Dash Command. Unfortunately, this isn't compatible with ALDL, which is what my van use (1993 Chevy G20).

Another way make it yourself. I have read some thread on here where some people have been able to make their own gauges through flash and embed it into RoadRunner.

How do get the flash gauges to move? Do they react to analog inputs based on software commands or can they streamline with something like WinALDL which does read the ALDL port on GM vehicles?

WinALDL already can display a lot of information from the ALDL port, so is it possible to synchronize this data with the flash gauges somehow, possibly through Girder?

Or perhaps through the Fusion Control Center software?
