n00b here :) One question pls

Really appreciate if you can help answer my following question:-

* Can OBDII be used to 'Measure' the tailpipe emissions (CO2, CO, HC) in realtime?
* If it does not, is there a way to deduce the emissions value from the vehicle in realtime?

Please consider giving me some pointers. Thanks much.

1. Not directly, no.
2. You may be able to guesstimate CO2 the same way people guesstimate MPG. The simplest way is to measure the airflow and assume an ideal burn.
