Do you need to flash the built in computer in the car and then interface that to their hardware which then gets connected to your PC. Anyone know? This all sounds very cool, I'm just not sure what's required to do it.

They supply the software that will read the ecu and display all in real time as well as the ability to record, plus lots more. The software needs a pc to run and is hooked up to the odb11 connectory under the steering column with supplied cable. You don not need a ecutek reflash although you can get a few extra features if you do (on the fly adjustments), but currently not available for the USDM sti. download the demo and take a look.

Hi!
I too have a STi, and I have had it modified with another ECUTEK/product that actually modifies the original ECU. The power gains is really good and safe since you rely on all the std ECU-safety meassures.
The power increased from 265Hp to 320Hp(Euro/spec STi with modified exhaust).
Anyway, the DeltaDash plugs in to the same port as the subaru workshops use, the select monitor/port(ODB/port) and it works on completely stock cars as well as highly modified ones that uses the software to monitor their cars vitals...

Sounds fun, after my computer is redone, time to put OBDII stuff in and have some more fun.

Anyone know where to buy this? Any US distributors? I tried to contact two of them and they didn't return my calls or e-mails. I'll just order from the UK site if no one in the US sells them, but I'd think someone does, just curious if anyone has bought it from a US site.

COBB Tuning in the process of making something similar to the Ecutek for the STI. The map loading component is called the AccessPort which they already have for the WRX. The AccessTuner is the component that allows you to tune mappings.

Actually... the deltadash software uses the CAN bus for communications and not the Subaru select protocal, iirc.

And the new cobb AccessECU/AccessPort do not interface you with a PC to do data logging at all. EcuTek has a product called the DeltaECU aka EcuTek reflash, which is just like the accessecu in that it is a remap of the stock ECU maps. But those are both very different products than the DeltaDash
