I'm not too sure about using a PC to access the BCM and send commands to operate the electricals. I think all the OBD-II interfaces are for reading engine status. You can probably talk to gork about that as he has done I-bus interface with his beamer.

what you need is a Parallel Port Relay Card and some software, and connect the relays to the door lock switches

that relay board you posted is the exact one I have.

the software I wrote to control that board is over here:
http://members.home.nl/peterwendy/programs/crc11.zip

you dont need an electrician to install it, but someone who knows about basic electronics needs to do it. The relays are all basically SPDT switches, so just hook up your accessories to the relays instead of (or for door locks, in addition to) regular old switches

Even with the relay control module, he still need to interface it to the OBD-II's K line. You need the relay control module to activate one of these
http://www.bypasskit.com/gmdl.asp?cid=11
With out the GMDL1, you need to do 5 wire door locks in driver, passanger and rear hatch then you need to do the neg trigger at the BCM under the rear seat to activate the rear passanger doors.
