ok...if i were to use the adapter from those mechanics handheld diagnostic tools (ie Carman Scan) thats for my make and model, can it be connected to the EL2M 327 OBDII scanner then to my cars diagnostic adapter in the engine bay.

Seeing that the diag tools can read data from the diag connector on the car would the adapter allow the obdii scanner to do the same????

I going through the same process looking for what is needed to display engin specs on a pc. and i saw cockie55 Had goten an answer from MR PTOR. What that particular answer was I don't have a clue? I need this help too? if you can find what mr ptor had said I'd like the thread to the answer. please I will also send the link to you if I can find it? Thanks jay

Angry OBD1 In A 1994 Dodge Intrepid

HEY,

I HAVE A 1994 DODGE INTREPID ES AND I WENT TO GET MY CAR CHECKED UP, BUT
THE MECANIC COULD NOT FIND THE OBD1 CONECTER PLUG. I NEED HELP!
I ONLY HAD IT FOR 6 MONTHS. I NEED TO KNOW WHERE THE OBD1 CONECTER IS
ON MY DODGE INTREPID. IF YOU KNOW COULD YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW.


ALSO MY CAR SHUTS OFF ON ME EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE WHEN IM DRIVING. IF I GET IT CHECKED OUT WITH A COMPUTER DO YOU THINK IT WOULD HELP???

Sheesh man, no need to yell and/or thread jack. If the mechanic couldn't find it, maybe you should go to a different mechanic.

EDIT: Take it to a dodge/Chrysler dealer.
