scantool left plugged in?

anyone know if its a problem to leave it plugged in? It's got a green light turned on and a blinking red light, just worried if its drawing power from the battery if its enough to start draining it?

Thanks,
Nick

I've had mine plugged in for a couple days and had no problem. It's not plugged into the computer that's sitting in my living room of course, but it's plugged into the car and has the little green light on it. Car still starts.

What kind of scan tool are you using out of curiosity?

Mine has been plugged into my Car and carputer for over a year now with no ill effects. Just have to remember to unplug it before going to get your smog test done!

<-- BR-3 from http://www.obddiagnostics.com/ connected and run daily for last 6 months with no problems.

(I know it's not scantool, just offering up the info!)
