OBDII and Front End

Hi all,

I am a newbie to all this but have now got my Car PC up and sort of running. At present I have VAG COM installed on the PC which is good for real problem solving and error checking. Problem is I'm a little boy. I want fancy guages etc. running within my front end software!!!

I've done some hunting on the forums but cannot seem to find any front end software with this functionality. Is there any available at present or is this still in the pipeline with Digimoto?

I'm using Roadrunner at the moment, which I do like but would love to see OBDII put to a good use in a front end package.

Cheers,

Andy

My company manufactures OBD-II hardware.

I sent demo hardware and sample source code to Digimoto... You'd have to ask Joel directly what his status is. As far as RoadRunner, I just contacted the lead developer this morning and offered him equipment and support to develop a plug-in. I would suggest that you email him to express your interest. That way he can set his priorities.

I've made the same deal available for all other CarPC and OBD-II software developers. For anybody that commits to developing a plug-in or adding J2534 support to their software, I can provide the resources to make it happen.

Didn't I read somewhere that Frodo was developing this functionality for FrodoPlayer?
