profpatpending Newbie Join Date: Dec 2005 Posts: 3	elm and 06 vw golf tried to connect to my brothers new 06 golf gti yesterday and I could not read out the fault code, the pop up kept saying something about the data string was too long or something, I tried with 4 different obd elm programmes, could not communicate does anybody know why and what unit or software will read the new vw codes???
