I have the OBDPro hardware and downloaded the OBD-DIAG software from the website, but would not work in my car. Please advice. I get the message " can't find the AVG diagnostic". I thought it works with ELM compartable hardwares?

I am new to this site and I would appreciate your help. I just bought the OBDpro hardware which is ELM 327 compartable, but I am unable to use the freeware of OBD-DIAG. I keep on getting the message" can not find AVG diagnostic). I downloaded it from this link:

.I downloaded the last one (OBD-DIAGV1.01.00.zip). When I got the error message I also download the AVG internal and the AVG supertool but it still didn't work.

You downloaded the wrong file. It's the last one on this page:-

I know the description is German but the program is English :-)
You must specify the com port in the config page too. On one of my PC's the config button froze the program so I edited it manually in the OBD-DIAG.ini file. OBD-DIAGV1.01.00 definitely supports the ELM hardware because I am using my ELM320 with this version of the software.
It would also appear that the com support is limited....so if you are using a USB ELM327 I suggest that you change the port to com1 and specify this in the config.

I've been goin over the code now for about two hours and granted I am no programmer or anything, I cannot find anywhere to change the calculations for the speed or even the pressures for the fuel and what not. Anyone give a little help?

hello , i have a interface ELM 327
but no working with OBD-DIAG software , you think if my interface is compatible with that software ? when i push the botton for connect, search but never connected the interface , i put in the setting the correct com , what bit i have to put on the com 9600 or 38400 ?
in the software no have that option to put the bit of com ...
, i connect my interface with other software and working perfect sacantool,net , scanmaster ELM , but i want used that software , can you help me , thanks mikee |

use the OBDDiag from the shipped CD, I think there are two versions of the OBDDiag and the one on the website will not work as it is probably specific to the OBDDiag hardware.

hi , yes my interface work with other software , scantool.net , ScanMaster-ELM , but i want used the OBD-DIAG software , anyone know if i can modified somethink inside of my interface or change somethink ?
my intergace have inside 327 chip
