Ah, these tools can be problematic - particularly because the software is programmed primarily in Hungarian.

Is the problem that your laptop doesn't have a serial port? You can use a USB to Serial convertor?

And I'm looking to buy a "Tech 2"

I would rather have one that I can use my laptop with as I've heard this is much cheaper

I found one on Ebay -

Could someone have a look at this, and let me know if this is the right product for me please?

I need to read Fault Codes and Clear them..

Also can the InSP light be re-set using this device back to the (Service @ 10,000 miles)?

Cheers

Insp Light is reset by depressing the trip reset button.Switch on ignition and letters "INSP" appear press the trip reset button until "----" ap.pears on display.Release button and switch off ignition.Yor service indicator is reset

for papakidza

Hello papakidza,

Stop it, the product Opel Tech2 Laptop based is not good product for professionals, i tried many products such as (Tech2, Opel Scanner, Opel Immo, Etc...)

The best product is OP-COM, you can find this product at OBD-Factory website but remmember (it is not original) but working perfect.

http://www.obdfactory.com/product_view.asp?id=378

Actually all the above products are available also there, but believe me, op-com is the best.
