Question Elmscan ISO

My Elmscan ISO works perfectly for my Toyota Camry 1998 model, but it doesn't work with my friends Toyota Prado 2003 model.....

Is it that it's not compatible or am I doing something wrong?

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

I also have a Toyota, but an MUV called an INNOVA. I bought the elmscan5 and it connects perfectly but i get a protocol error message with the scantool software.

Should i be trying any other software ?
