A few questions :)

Hi guys,

I am very new to this whole car diagnostic stuff so I might need some advice. After doing some research, I've found that the ELM327 is something to considering. Ideally I want a system that resets service lights also. Am guessing this doesn't allow that? My other problem that it is only used for OBDII connectors. Can you buy adaptors for this?

Is there a similar system that does older cars?

Also, what software do you recommend?

KWP2000+, the remap files that comes with the CD, how are they rated? Does it have a BHP figure associated with it? I have a Punto JTD and wanted to remap it slightly.
