Hi guys,

I'm trying out Centrafuse to make sure I can get everything working properly before I commit to buying anything. So far I've been able to get my BlackBerry 8120 to pair with Centrafuse and use it to make/receive calls, but I can't seem to get it to work as a modem with the BlueSoleil program running... while it worked as a modem over Bluetooth fine through Window's built-in Bluetooth and MSDUN... even without BlackBerry Desktop Manager Running!!

I'm working on a Asus Eee PC 701 with Windows XP a Generic Bluetooth adapter...

It seems like I have to make a choice as to whether I would rather have my phone tether as a modem or be able to make/receive calls. Has anyone been able to do both of these tasks with a BlackBerry Pearl using the BlueSoleil drivers??

I guess my other option would be to tether via USB whenever I wanted to go online and use bluetooth exclusively for calls. However, I haven't tried this yet, and I know that I'd most likely need to have BlackBerry Desktop Manager Running in the background....Any thoughts??

Hi, i'm new to this forum and residing in the far east island called singapore. I've recently installed centrafuse on my Viliv S5 hoping to make use of it to run my MP3s with DRM license.

the songs plays fine on WMP11, but when i try to play them on centrafuse, it tries to look for a drm license online which unfortunately my MP3 supplier (KKBOX from Taiwan) do not allow webpage retrieval of DRM licenses.

Now is there a way that i can configure centrafuse to load the DRM licenses from WMP11 itself?

Your advices are greatly appreciated guys!

Does anyone know how a plugin could be developed that would pass either address, or lat / long to the nav component of this frontend. The plugin would be part winsock based, in that i have a server like software running which monitors the fire brigade pager system, which i am a part of. And when it detects the prefix for my brigade, and that it is a call, it will geocode the address, and pass it all through in xml format to any connected clients.

What i would like to do, is have it so that when my carputer (laptop) is connected to the network, and gets the broadcast message, i would like the plugin to either take the address, or geocoded lat / long passed from the server, and put it into nav and start nav. So when i get into the car its ready to go, with the route planned, etc...

This is specific to centrifuse this post, nor RR. In addition this is a concept system and secondary, so i am aware that the frontends are not always stable, and this would not be used as a primary system. I have my own pager and melways for that, but it would be great to get it working so the address could be passed through to nav, and nav started. And for others this might be useful in passing across addresses for peoples appointment in outlook calander etc.

Thanks.

How do I get Centrafuse to know that I do have internet? Or am I screwed in that Centrafuse will only use DUN and WiFi devices?
