EZSync Ini File Settings

Here is a list of the ini file settings in EZSync. Currently as of version 1.92.

Note these settings are the ones you can change manually. There are other settings visible, but they should be left alone if not listed here.

Client

[Config] section

FrodoPlayerSupport=<0 or 1>
Disable or enable support for entering music files into the FrodoPlayer database.

FrodoDatabase=<path and filename>
Specify the location and name of the FrodoPlayer database

Port=<number>
Specify the TCP port to use for communication. Must match the server entry.

StartMinimized=<0 or 1>
Flag to indicate whether EZSync should start up minimized or show its window

TargetIP1=<dotted IP Address>
Specify the IP address of the first server

Addresses for TargetIP2..TargetIP10 can also be specified. Each will be tried in turn until a successful synchronization is achieved. This allows you to sync with one or more IP addresses depending upon your location.

PollFrequencyMin=<number of minutes>
This is the frequency between which attempts will be made to synchronize once a full synchronization has completed.

ShowOnConnect=<0 or 1>
Indicates whether the client window should show itself when a successful connection to the server is made.



[Sounds] section

syncstart=<wav file name>
Indicates the name of the wav file to be played when synchronization starts. Set to empty string if you want no sound. Wav file must be in the ezsync directory.

synccomplete=<wav file name>
Indicates the name of the wav file to be played when synchronization finishes. Set to empty string if you want no sound. Wav file must be in the ezsync directory.

syncresumed=<wav file name>
Indicates the name of the wav file to be played when synchronization resumes after a lost connection. Set to empty string if you want no sound. Wav file must be in the ezsync directory.



Server

[Config] section

InitialDir=<directory>
Specifies which drive and directory the directory list on the left of the window should start at.

StartMinimized=<0 or 1>
Flag to indicate whether EZSync server should start up minimized or show its window

Port=<number>
Specify the TCP port to use for communication. Must match the client entry.
