Possible SHOWSTOPPER... v1.93 (Mirror Server Problem)

I haven't been able to do any further testing, but decided to run and post this ASAP before anyone else potentially gets slapped by the same bug.

For some reason, directories labeled as Mirror Server have been completely wiped out. Thru the first sync run, EzSync went thru and deleted every existant directory deleting just about all my music/videos. Good thing thats all I sync!

Anyways, on a test folder, i put in 5 files. Synced it. Then end of sync, it deleted those files and tried to resync them all over again. Not sure, I'll try to look into this further.

In the mean time, this is warning of a possible major issue until someone can verify elsewise on a different setup.

My God! It deleted all the files from your Source (home PC), or from your Destination (carputer)?!

Luckily it was the CarPC (so only time is lost really), source pc was left untouched. I'm hoping this is a fluke in my setup and not something more.

Confirmed it's a bug - only on mirror server. I'll get a patch out.

Shut down client side and copy this file to the ezsync directory.

Please give it a try.

Edit: The 1.93 full and upgrade installers have now been updated with this patch, so anyone downloading after the date/time of this post will get the patch in the install.

Just tried the patch. Installed it on the client.

It synced correctly the first "mirror server" and then disconnected from server, leaving the files this time on the client! Then it tried to resync again it saw that the first mirror server was upto date and disconnected. yet, i still have another two more mirror servers listed and an upload only which was not processed. It won't get to the next objects.

Also, have you changed the way the minimze option works? Cause I couldnt get the window opened up on my client to see exactly what was going on.

If you have a patched version, could you please change the version itself? Defeats the purpose of HAVING a version number in the first place! How about 1.93a

I didnt have time. I dont know what timezone you are in but it was late and i didnt want any downloaders during the night to pick up code that would delete files.

I'm going to withdraw this release and cease development as I clearly don't have time to get it right.
