EZSync 1.94 release
EZSync 1.94 is now going on general release.
Please visit the web site on http://www.richmet.com/ezsync to view the user manual and download the software. You will need to register on the site to access the downloads. I'm using a recognised product so you shouldn't have any problems registering
I recommend you perform some local testing before installing in your actual system.

keep up the great work!
Edit: BTW, whats the changelog for this release?

Great news!
I've been most eagerly awaiting an update to this program.
Thanks for hanging in there.
Quick question:
I love the fact that EZsync can now hibernate after it gets done syncing...very handy since I use a laptop in my CarPC setup.
However, I'm currently using a utility to force hibernation when running on battery is detected, since my frontend doesn't seem to let the native windows hibernation routine do it's thing.
Can EZSync be set to hibernate on battery when there is no machine to sync with?
Say for example you're out at the store or movies and just want the CarPC to hibernate shortly after you turn of the car.
It would be really great if that were possible.
Keep up the fine work.
-Paul

It can't at the moment, but I guess it could be added at some point in the future.

I could not replicate your problem, so you will have to try it and see if it has gone away. I did fix some exceptions - these would be seen as stopping during syncing because the software handles exceptions internally rather than stopping completely.

lol, didnt realize that you had to register to view the download, so i just used the link to 1.92 as a basis for where you had 1.94 and just tweaked the link a bit.

Gee, thanks for posting that....
I'm editing this post coz I was a bit rude above. I feel I ought to explain - I want people to register because if they do then I can see how many people are using the software. I use this as a guide to help me determine whether it is worthwhile continuing development. So the fewer registered users there are, the less likely I am to develop it more.
Ric.

I fixed a couple of things people reported in the beta. If you're happy with what you've got you don't need to. There is a visual difference on the server side - I've replaced the directory selection with a more up to date control.
I did make a change to completely remove the deletion of directories on mirror server sync because it causes problems in various circumstances so empty directories will never get deleted from the client side. This is one of the problems that caused withdrawal of 1.93 - I tweaked it in the beta but have now completely removed it.

Is this download link dead?
If I goto http://www.richmet.com/ezsync I get redirected to here, with no way to download, am I missing something?

I believe development has been cancelled. No idea why.
