MkIV InDash SlotLoad DVD Mount
So I was wondering if anyone has sucessfully put a slot load DVD/CD drive into the slot above the double din radio slot (where the cupholders used to be in the earlier MkIV's)
See this pic for reference
I am not so great at fabbing stuff and really want this to look as oem as possible -- so anyone who has done this or can do it for a price, or has some suggestions would be greatly appriciated!

I actually was working on it a few months ago, I got most the OEM peice in CAD and would just need to add the cut outs for the cd rom.

Awesome! What kinda timeline are you thinking? I will definatly want one when you make them, but if it's going to be a while I can do a temporary solution or something for now.

I could have the cad done in about 2-4 hours of work, problem is getting them made costs money...

We have pre-fab facilities.
If you make the cad, I can take it in when school starts.
Basically, the best thing you could do is to make it in solid edge.
If you can do that, I can take it in and they will print it out whenever they have enough space left on a fabset. PM me.
