Drilling and Tapping...

I could use a little help and maybe there are some metal-heads on the forums.

I need to drill out a hole, enlarge it by about 2mm and, since it was originally threaded, replace the threads.

The size someone else has used for the same project is #2 BA (4mm i think), which is a British size. Im having trouble finding American equivalents.

And worse yet, where to even find such taps to purchase.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tried the M series for taps? M4 for example.

In Florida, check PEP Boys. They have a large assortment of taps. Most of them come with a drill bit.

Thanks, I may have found someone in town who has a metal shop.

But in any case, thanks for the link and pep boys suggestion.
