Lilliput Bezel. Is it ABS?

painted Nylon I believe

Only reason I say this is I bought a lilli bezel and sanded some areas of it, it's white underneath the black paint

my zenarc is abs and was white underneath the paint. abs does not have to be black.

as far as i know, with all that have done the abs sludge method for molding, it is in fact abs.

hmm im hope it is ABS... i just ripped my current fab apart to redo it with ABS cement and shavings tommorow lol.

It may depend on which model. I've used both the 619 and the EBY-701 and they were both ABS...

Sorry to ask a basic question, but what is ABS and why is that useful to know? I too have a Lilliput EBY701 and I'm going to try to make a bezel and install it in my dash, so any input would be great.

Abs is a type of plastic used in cars, if you were going to use abs sludge to make a bezel the parts would have to be made of abs in order for it to bond fully.

mine bonded with the abs sludge i made too. So i was wrong on the nylon issue.

unless the abs sludge also bonds to nylon...
