MacMini Rear Port Adapter PCB?
Hello Boyz,
Mmm....we all know that when it comes to the MAcMini, we probably have the nicest little PC for a Carputer setup - it has opne major flaw though, and it is the rear ports - especially the Video Adapter.
When the DVI-I Adapter is connected, and you still have to connect the VGA cable, poofff....ther goes the small footprint needed to install this little monster.
I was wondering if anyone considered doing a PCB, with all connectors to plug into the original ports, and then have one/two/three cables coming out the side of the PCB, or the top or bottom, whichever way is best for your application?
Basically a flat PCB, all connectors mounted perpendicular to the surface, plugging in to the MacMini rear, this would decrease the needed "depth" required, making for a much cleaner installation into those tight situations?
If you know of something, please post a linky here, and no, I am not referring to the few attempts at docs that's out there, just a simple PCB with cables coming out for USB/Audio/Video etc.
Your feedback would be appreciated.
If something like this doesn't exist, if I design one, anyone willing to buy them?
Br,
MrBean
