Finished installation

Thought I'd put up a few pics of my more-or-less finished installation.

First pic is pre-installation, but post ripping my center stack apart. I relocated the HVAC controls from the normal, top position to the bottom of the stack so the screen would be in better viewing position, and fabricated a custom HVAC trim bezel to fit the new location.

The vertical gap to the left of the screen is the slot for the slot load DVD/CD burner, the silver Powermate below the gearshift is mounted to joystick internals, and functions more or less like an iDrive controller (moves freely in any direction/four axes, click and turn, click). Hardware is mounted in the trunk, behind the amps and on my sub box. Wireless and GPS antennas are behind the front and rear windshields. Software is StreetDeck with a custom skin.

Original non-factory installation, with HVAC controls in the normal location and Rockford Fosgate OmniFi 20GB MP3 player... sadly, this was stolen from my car.
