yeah i seen that thread, that guy is definitely done it more than once i can tell you that much. if i saw that in real life, i would have though a machine made that bezel its perfect.

what if i wanted to listen to am/fm radio? and listening to cd audio takes much faster time to load than in a regular PC. and another reason i want to keep my head unit is because i dont want to invest in an amp either.

so overall i think keeping the head unit will do me good.

I don't personally, but they make USB AM/FM adapters.

I have my entire (600+ CDs) collection ripped to my HD. Much easier than carting a ton of discs around.

That's a valid point. And there are times I wish I still had a headunit.
