firstly... here is the car its all going in... my s red 2.0 coupe
the computer, i have 2x hard drives, one with the opperating system on and the other with everything else. total of 140gig, using windows XP and crrently on mobile impact. i have not yet got the gps working yet. what is best for this?
I am recieving Mobile Broadband from 3, been connecting at about 3.6mb for the last few days
i am using the M2 ATX (i am having some issues with at the minute as i can not get the remote lead to turn on and off the pc)
i have put a total of 4 screens in the car. firstly, i have relocated the std head unit to the glove box, this is a dvd player with a 3" screen on it.
second screen is a 7" manual flip out screen due to the angel of the headunit holder in the car.
then i have 2x 8" screens in the head rests.
to relocate the head unit, i had to extend the leads which was pritty stright forward...
the system in and working...
i have also just installed a sound system as followed
i have not yet finished as i need to carpet the boxes etc, but im not to happy with them so think i will be rebuilding the system.
currently having a few problems with the M2 ATX, when i connect to the power and earth the computer starts... anyone had this problem? i have not yet connected the remote wire.
im not the most technically minded when it comes to computer but i would like to upgrade the mobile impact system for something a little better and navigation software...
