Sandwitch boards together ?

Hello

I have a 10" Samsung LCD.
I want to fabricate it in my dash without the buttons and the frame.

To built in the display.. that's the easiest part of the job I guess.
But I want the parts as seen in the picture underneath, attached on the back of my LCD Screen:

I want a sandwitch effect or something,
so the parts are behind the screen attached to something..
I think that's the most normal way to do this? Am I right?

How do you people do this trick?
A wooded frame or something?

Maybe someone have some pictures of this job?
Thanks!

Sandwich. If you want the components protected, I would find a project box to stash the components in, with holes for all the wires and cooling and what not.

I used 22-gauge steel for my 10.4, as part of a standalone mount that will attach to the dash. The bezel will install over it. Check my worklog for a description.

Mine is Lilliput, but it uses a Samsung screen.
