Need Tips on Dynatron

I bought the Dynatron two party apoxy that is used in the sticky at the top. I am filling in a rather lard area and it seems like the stuff is still tacky.

It has sat for about 24 hours but some parts aren't completely hardened. Is there anything I can do to help with the curing?

Any way to correct it? Maybe put some hardener on the tacky spots?

It could be the mix ratio, but Dynatron is a one-to-one ratio, so that's pretty hard to screw up.

Maybe it's temperature. If you're using epoxy material in cold temperatures, it takes a lot longer to cure.

Maybe it's the mixing. I don't have experience specifically with Dynatron, but I've use several other two-component materials, and it's critical to follow the instructions precisely. If they say to "mix for two minutes, even if it looks mixed before that", then do just as they say. No shortcuts. If the material wasn't mixed well enough, you have some parts -- those that are still tacky -- that didn't get enough catalyst mixed with them. They may never cure without it.

The instruction sheet should also provide guidance on heat curing. It'll tell you if application of low heat will speed curing, and it will probably specify a maximum temperature.

Hello, I am not looking at the product. I can tell you this though. lots of two part epoxy glues are actually inhibited from drying by air. Sounds crazy I know, but is true. If it is getting semi hard and staying gooish on top. Thats the problem. Lay plastic wrap or foil or paper or anything on top of it. To keep the air from touching it. Then see if it dries.
good luck
