fiberglass subwoofer box enclosure

so will the fuiberglass really support all of the subs without any braces behind the subs themselves.... I would thing the fiberglass would crack and break.

Question Just for looks?

Anybody can fill the back of a car or truck with speakers. Just because somebody built this doesn't mean it is structurally sound. It looks impressive and it will probably make the car thump hard. Who's to say it will sound good though?

Would you rather fight a boxer with a pair of well trained fists or 16 fat little midgets with their 32 stubby little fists? (I mean no offense to any little-person)

Meaning, it's a novelty to have 32 subs rocking in the trunk, but it's marginally louder than having 2 well-engineered subs. ED does make some good stuff, but this box doesn't seem to have the airspace behind it to really get these subs suspended correctly.

wow...that is sick. what size subs are those??? fiberglass will hold it up with no problems IF you add enough layers to it...and i mean ALOT of layers!!! on the front as well as the back. yeah, it might sound like crap but maybe it will sound good!!! it will definately thump hard as hell though. damn... i might do something like that with some 8 inches in my trunk and 2 10's...i doubt it though. but overall i like it and i think it will, cosmetically and artistically, look nice. please tell me you are going to have it painted!!!

i have the same ed subs installed in passenger kick door. its hits pretty good for a 6.5 inch sub. I saw the complete design this project in the icxsound forum. it was a sick install and front what i hear it hit damn hard.
