I can assure you that they are structural cracks. Does anyone know of a glue that would bond plexi glass? I used plexi because it was easily available, so I would like to stick with it.

acetone will work to bond plexiglass. or better yet take some scrap, dissolve in acetone, and use that as a glue. glass jar or a PP bottle works well as a container. remember to use real acetone, and not fingernail polish remover. you can buy it in the paint section of a hardware store or homedepot.
