Smile SCION TC 10inc Screen?

Hey has anyone tried making a 10 inch screen fit in the Scion TC yet? If so and you have pictures, I would love to see how it came out. Thanks

Phil

May want to check out the show off section...

Also 10" is rather larger for such a small car, it will definately stand out and not be stock/OEM looking. This means to make it look good, and not "meh" or bad, you will need to do a very good job at fabrication.

If I may ask, why 10"? Why not an 8" 4:3?

Hey Toaster,

Yeah I kind of thought it would look crazy big, I have a 7inch now and it look nice but my wife has a harder time reading and typing when were are using it on the road. But like you said I don't want it to look so out of the norm either!

I thought about trying a 8inch but wasn't sure if it was worth it to go up one inch. you know? Thanks for the tip, i didn't know there was a show off section, i'll have to have a look for it.

Thanks for the advise.

Phil

I dont know man. I Have a tC and a 7" fits snug as a bug in a rug. I guess if you cut into the waterfall itself and did some hardcore refab you could pull it off. but yeah you would end up killing those nice lines there and i dont think it would look very stock.

what about if you did the screen vertically? that way it wouldnt be as wide and might still look good, but would still require some intense fabrication.

Hey Zangmann

Could you send me a photo of your 7inch snugged bug in a rug! lol Monitor. I have a 7 inch and mine has room to play on all sides! I had to make a custom bezel to fit mine in my waterfall dash!!!

Thanks Man
