making an odd shaped box for 3 10's?? help!

Hey, due to the size of my trunk I am building a box for three kicker comp 10's thats only 12" tall. It will be 33" wide and 17" deep. I will still have 3 cubic feet but will it sound good being in a long short box? Any input would help. Thanks

I made a fiberglass enclosure to better utilize the space in my trunk. It wasn't too difficult, but it was a bit of work.

As long as the cubic feet of the enclosure is within the manufacturers specified range. (Make sure you subtract the volume of the speaker itself) you should not notice a difference.

but if the magnet is out, there is no displacement in the box. the total size of the box would need to be reduced by the amount of displacement.
