Buying ABS sheets locally?

Does anyone know of a typical/common retailer that would carry small sheets of ABS in something like a 12" X 12" panel? I know I can order them online, but I'm curious as to where, or what industry would carry these items locally. Sad part is that the Sabik (GE) plant a few miles away manufactures this, yet I don't have a source to get it, and don't have a multi-million dollar account with them to order!

I've opted to change the way I'm mounting my LCD, and with the angle I'm wanting to put it at, I'm going to need a decent-sized sheet of ABS to mate my current dash bezel with my LCD bezel, as I will be bridging two points on the current bezel, rather than following the OEM shape. (95-99 Chevy full-size truck dash) Another reason, is that I will be cutting out some of the current controls to relocate, so there are gonna be a number of voids in the current dash.

Look in the yellow pages for a small plastic fabricator. I found a shop locally and can buy what they call "scrap" -- smaller pieces -- at very low cost. I think the 24"x48" piece of 1/4" polyethylene was $12, which is $1.50/sq.ft.

I talked to the guys in the shop, and they provided fabrication advice, too.

Awesome. emailed a wholesaler I found on google (local), and it was going to be under $10 for a 24" X 24" sheet. And probably free if they had one that was "blemed".
