fiberglass vs plastic vs metal

i am wanting to make a custom dash, i mean totally rip out the old, and put in something completely new and different. now i was wondering, in everyones opinion, what would be a better material to use?

fiber glass?
plastic?
various types of metal, such as aluminium, steel, etc?
carbon fiber?

Thanks

Your best guide is trial and error. Just keep practicing until you're ready to tackle something is big as a dash.
