Exclamation 300m needs front dash monitor fabricated...Help!

Hello everyone...I am a newbee working on my first install. I have run into a problem. It turns out that the flip out in dash monitor that I originally planned to use as my monitor will not be sufficient because it does not have VGA input. I have searched extensively for a solution to this problem...But is turns out nothing will help me to be able to read text on it, so I'm gonna get a VGA monitor. I want to install a regular monitor instead of a flip out one since my money is funny and I have found them cheaper than the flip out...Plus since I have to spend extra unexpected money, I don't want to have to deal with the issues associated with flip outs. Now here is my issue...Where to put it? I have a 1999 Chrysler 300M. I was thinking right under the factory radio. I could use some detailed help(pics would help) on creating the fixture This will be the first time using bondo to accomplish this, but I'm sure I can pull it off. Just want the finished product to look good... Thanks in advance!!!!

I like the work done in the trunk, but the screen looks a little sloppy installed. I"m sure that the finished project will be awesome, but i want to keep my factory radio and not have to spend more on another. I plan to sacrifice the ashtray and move the lighter to a new location and put my screen there... I have a concept in mind. Not worried about glare cause my windows have a nice dark tint...Even in my sunroof. Not planning on using it extensively anyway except for navigation purposes... just want to add some bling to my 300. Gonna go with a 7" monitor so I wont have to cut off the clips that hold the frame in place. Not to worry...The shifter knob will not impair my view since it is out of the way when in drive(when using navigation). Wish I could move the radio down though... Working on that concept also(preferred), but may have to go with the original one if not possible!!!

You can move the radio down, or anywhere you want for that matter. Take a look here. These are just examples to get the ideas rolling and the finished project can be as good or as bad as you want it to be.

Decided to move the climate control to the bottom above the ashtray, then move the radio down a bit. That should create enough room for the monitor. Any suggestions on what I should use to create the custom bezel? Looking for a factory look when complete!
