techniques for uniform color adhesion?
this is my thing guys, maybe i can get some suggestions.
i can't get paint to adhere to my fabrications uniformly. there always seems to be 3 different shades of black when i'm done, one shade where the monitor bezel was, a slightly lighter shade where the filler/spot putty was applied, and a 3rd different shade where the original bezel i hacked up is.
also i suck at feeling, because as soon as i spray on a coat of primer, every little imperfection comes right out. im looking at it right now and i suck.
the stuff i'm using is all rattle-can, it's dupli-color auto spray and dupli-color sandable black primer. maybe i should switch to something else, or maybe move up to shooting from a HPLV gun?
