Xenarc Issues, Grr
Here's a set of e-mails I wrote to Xenarc, after I called asking if they could send me some extra buttons. They told me that I needed to buy the casing for 25.00.
me: Hello, I called recently about getting an extra set of buttons for the Xenarc 7” 700TSV and was told that I must buy the entire casing package for 25.00. I really only need the buttons and have no use for the casing. I also can’t see myself paying 25.00 for just the little buttons. Is there a way that I can just get the buttons sent to me I don’t mind paying 5 or 10 dollars for the time and effort it takes to mail them, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
them:
Hi xxxxx,
Have you purchased our 700TSV before? Do you know who you purchased the monitor from?
Thanks,
me:
I bought the monitor directly from your online store (Xenarc Direct)
them:
If you can provide your sales receipt number, I’ll have the buttons shipped to the address listed on the sales receipt.
Thanks,
me:
I don’t have my sales receipt number, but I assure you that I bought it from xenarc direct. I don’t mind paying 5-10 dollars for the time it takes you to put the little buttons in a package and send em’ out.
them:
Go ahead and give me a call tomorrow. If you can provide the transaction date, I can find the sales receipt and have the buttons sent out to you.
Thanks,
---This set of e-mails has taken about 2 weeks, I'm not looking for free buttons, nor am I blaming anyone for ruining my original buttons. (I did that pretty good on my own) I also dont remember when I baught the LCD and I think thier being a little nuts as to finding out weather or not I actually baught the screen from them. I dont mind paying money for thier time but just not 25.00 on buttons.
I do know that they fix screens there so I'm pretty sure they wouldnt have to rip open a case and steal them to make me happy they probably have some lying around.
I'm upset because I hear about how great thier service is from everyone else but thier being natzi's about some buttons :-\
