It's a nice start, but for that factory look, you'll need to use a sanding block...

yup i did sand around it for bout 2 hours! haha i got a blister on my thumb from it its way better then what i had it looking like before it looked like some1 chizzled a square out of a rock and glued it on im pritty happy with it just waiting for the screen to come so i can c how it looks :-D thanks guys

Not bad. You mentioned that you sanded it, but did you use a sanding block? There appear to be some unevenness around the hole for the screen, you might want to go back in with a light coat of body filler and re-sand it again to get it flatter. Also, some users on the board have had luck using a textured spray paint to help get a more factory look back. If you don't have luck with that, there might be advantage to sanding the whole piece down so that the texture will be consistent, eg, not smooth on the new part and textured elsewhere.

i sanded mine for about a week lol

First off Great start.
I would like to point out a couple of things that if persued will make you happy in the long run.
Although you may be willing to "settle" with what you have now, My motto has always been "do it right the first time". To get my dash piece it took about 12-16 man hours (not in one sitting mind you) and this was the second time doing it so i had no excuses.
The majority of the time was sanding. Like Chairboy said get a sanding block. It will take the strain off your hands you will end up even, straight lines.
It looks like you need to add more bondo in places (like near the power light) and need to sand more to get a smooth even finish.
Right now you have many peaks and valleys.
It may be helpful to use a guide coat (a gaud coat is simply a quick coat of primer paint that you spray on) to see what places you need to add more bondo and what places you need to sand more.
Keep up the work and keep us updated with pictures

Is shiny paint a good idea for dash parts? What about the sun reflecting off it and blinding you while driving? Probably not that big a deal, but just a thought.

lol yeh curiosity thas a good thought it hasnt done it yet lets hope it doesnt lol thanks for the tips guys and i will definately go back and fill in the dips i added my cd player at the bottom in the ash tray area and i still need to sand and paint it lots more stuff to do just need to find the time :-D

one question I haven't seen asked is....what grit sand paper were you using?
To start off with you need to use a grittier sand paper, then move on to lighter sand paper, it will make the sanding process go a bit smoother.
Also, a little tip/trick....once you have the bondo in place and it's starting to kick, start sanding lightly before it's funny kicked....this is an old body shop trick. They tend to use something they refer to as a cheese grater, you can get away with just using some 100 grit sand paper...
it looks like you need to work smarter, rather than harder
