2002 Altima Dash, Finished or not?

Finally tried out what I've been saying I was going to do for a while, which was adding a bit of a visor to the screen. I don't know if i'm being to hard on myself, but i'm not happy with it. LMK. you can see the balsa one i scrapped early on. balsa sucks. I think i have permanent lung damage from all that sanding.

Nevermind, I'm just not gonna do the carputer thing anymore.

i say sand it down some more and smooth out some of the bumps an little curves here check out my dash Altimat made my 03 altima dash.

That is a little hard on the eyes lol. Get another dash and bezel and I'll do it right for you!

I need ideas for my 05 dash bezel. Hey Altimat, I am SEO5 on altimas.net.

Just ordered my screen, should have it this week. The center bezel on my dash has a weird texture to it that can not be duplicated by hand.

I will have to probably sand it all smooth and put some kind of finish on it. I am considering some type of wallpaper or something.

Its not too bad to sand smooth. You have the nice compartment though. Why not limit your work to inside that door and save the texture outside?

I think that the 7" Xenarc is a tad too big to fit in there so I may have to do some modding to it. I would like it if I can make that upper door strong enough to support the screen. I may have to add servos. I'll see when I get the parts. They are on their way.

mpfjr, see if that compartment isn't similar to the infiniti g35's. god of cpu has this site, http://www.digitalwheelz.com/ , maybe you could do something similar.
